Heart, soul or mind: which do I trust when they seem to point in different directions? The short line below holds that uncertainty rather than resolving it. It is a personal question about choosing when none of my usual guides feels completely clear. I do not have a neat answer in this line. That is what I want to leave visible: the gap between wanting certainty and having to choose. Sometimes naming the doubt is the honest beginning of a conversation, even before I know where it will lead.
And if even the heart is wrong and the soul, too – then for sure I can’t trust my mind about what to do.
