In my “Rilindja 2.0” post, I brought astrology and Albanian identity together with a call for transformation. One slide gives that idea a visual sequence: a scorpion, a phoenix and a double-headed eagle.
The three stages in the artwork
The scorpion is paired with challenge, endurance and self-improvement. The phoenix carries transformation, purification and rebirth. The double-headed eagle brings the sequence to wisdom, strength and Albanian identity.
The accompanying lines move from finding strength in darkness, through fire, to rising again. This is the symbolic language of the post: an image of change expressed through figures that matter to its theme.
Astrological symbolism is an interpretation, not evidence that a birth sign determines someone’s character or historical contribution. The artwork can be read as a call for renewal without turning that association into a factual explanation.
A correction to the original carousel
One slide gives Jeronim De Rada’s birthday as 19 November 1814. That is incorrect: the ICSAIC historical research institute records 29 November 1814. The mistaken date should not be used to support the carousel’s Scorpio grouping. Read the biographical entry.
Image note: the illustration is the symbolic slide from my original carousel, which Instagram labels as AI content. It is artwork, not a historical photograph. The biographical collage containing the incorrect date is not reproduced here.
