A viewer wrote that everything they tried seemed to go wrong and asked how to break that cycle. They also questioned whether everyone had the same opportunities as me. My reply focused on the part I wanted them to reconsider: treating bad luck as the explanation for every next attempt.
I spoke strongly about mindset. But the concrete part of my answer was a list of decisions: when I get up, how I approach my work, whether I exercise or meditate, and how much I read.
Bring the question back to a decision
Those were the examples I gave of taking a more active part in my own life. Reading, learning and working on myself were things I could return to instead of waiting for luck to change.
I also connected that idea to Be The One. Working on yourself is part of why I wanted to build the app. In this reply, I was explaining that motivation, not reporting measured results from using it.
The useful question in the recording is what I can decide to do next. My encouragement was to work, learn and act rather than let the expectation of another disappointment make the decision in advance.
This is a personal reflection on agency. It is not evidence that thoughts control events or that everyone starts with the same opportunities.
