I recommended Astra/GPT-6 in my September 29 post. I also said that my credits ran out quickly. Claude was my backup.
Both parts belong in the same recommendation. A tool can be impressive and still interrupt your working day when you hit its limits.
This is my experience from that moment, not a benchmark or a promise about anyone else’s allowance. The useful question is how a tool fits the work you need to finish.
What happens when it becomes unavailable? Can you continue with another tool? Have you kept enough context to pick up the task without explaining everything again?
For me, having an alternative is part of the workflow. Being impressed by a tool does not mean making all my progress depend on it.
