A viewer told me they went all in on every idea and business, but nothing worked out. I could not judge their attempts from that comment. What I could share was that my own path had included plenty of failures.

Some ideas never reached the point of becoming a registered company. Other businesses started and then failed. Some brought in revenue without profit. I had also lost money I invested. The route was much less straightforward than a finished business can make it look.

Be The One also involved starting again

In this recording, I described working on Be The One for more than a year and restarting the app several times. I would work on a version for months, realise I was not satisfied with where it was going, and begin again.

That was the experience behind my encouragement to the viewer. I believed in the value of what I was trying to build, but getting to a version I was satisfied with had involved repeated attempts.

Do more than move to the next idea

The practical part of my reply was to stop and ask why an attempt had failed. Write it down. Talk it through with another entrepreneur. Consider whether a book, a course or a mentor could help with something you did not yet understand.

I also mentioned using ChatGPT as a conversation partner for that reflection. The point was to examine the mistakes, rather than simply say that something failed and immediately move on.

My message was encouragement to keep learning between attempts. Persistence alone cannot establish that a particular business will succeed.
