Arriving in Rome brought the familiar change of rhythm: bags, a place to stay, something to eat and a new city outside the door. Alongside the historical stops, I shared those ordinary parts of the visit.
Two clips follow our accommodation, including the spacious Airbnb I showed from the centre of Rome. These are impressions of the place we stayed, rather than a current listing or a promise about availability and prices.
There was also a stop at Ristorante Alla Rampa and a conversation about how expensive food felt. That was a traveller’s reaction to particular purchases, not a citywide price comparison. A Pinocchio figure caught my attention on another walk: a familiar character appearing in the middle of a new place.
These small recordings belong together. They show what happened between the monuments: finding our bearings, sharing a meal, looking around and settling into the next stop on the journey.

The Pinocchio clip also became a reflection on honesty. I used the familiar image of a growing nose to talk about how a lie can become harder to hide. My belief that the truth eventually wins was the personal message of the post, rather than a guarantee about how every situation ends.
