In Vienna I found a place that immediately made me curious. That is how I introduced this visit in the text on the video: a villa that looks grand from outside, with a different atmosphere when you enter.

Start with the building

The first clip shows the exterior, including columns and a statue. The museum’s official history identifies the building as Otto Wagner’s first villa, completed in 1888.

This is part I of three short posts, not a complete museum guide. Follow it with part II for colour and light indoors, and part III for details around the entrance. Keeping them together lets you follow the visit without losing the original clips or their individual perspectives.
