Prishtina is at the heart of KONCENTROHU. That is where I begin when I talk about the podcast’s mission.
KONCENTROHU Prishtina: giving the mission substance
I want this podcast to spread Albanian values, give a voice to people who have something to contribute, and open conversations about the things that can move us forward.
Wake up as an individual. Come together as Albanians. Grow as a nation.
Those are the words I chose. Now the work is to give them substance through the people we listen to and the subjects we make room for. After all, a mission should help us choose the conversation, not simply decorate its introduction.
For example, who has something to share that we haven’t heard enough? And what question do we keep putting off? Also, what could we understand better if we gave someone the room to explain?
I called it a national reawakening. For this podcast, that starts with attention: to our people, our values and what we can contribute.
So who would you like to hear on KONCENTROHU, and what would you ask them?
Start with a question worth exploring
For example, a guest’s experience can open a question about work, belonging or responsibility. The useful starting point is a concrete situation: what happened, what choice did that person face and what did they learn? Those details give a listener something to think about beyond a slogan.
Also, sharing values does not mean that everyone must tell the same story. A thoughtful question can make room for different experiences. Listening closely includes asking for an example, clarifying an unfamiliar detail and letting someone finish an answer.
For KONCENTROHU Prishtina is the starting point of that mission. The conversation still needs people who can give it substance. So when you suggest a guest, suggest a question too. What would you want to understand after listening? That turns a name into the beginning of a conversation, and it gives the mission a practical direction.
