In this video, I suggest choosing a book around the quality you want to bring into your life. The example in the caption is simple: if you are facing fear, read about courage. Give your attention to a perspective that can challenge the one you keep repeating.
I used the language of a book’s “energy field”. I mean that as a personal, spiritual way of describing the experience of reading, not a measurable force or a scientific explanation. You can take the practical invitation without sharing that interpretation.
Choosing a book around a real question
Before choosing your next book, put the question on paper. What am I avoiding? Where do I need a different perspective? Which decision keeps coming back? A clear question gives you something to read for, rather than another title to collect.
My suggestion is to keep a short note beside the book: an idea worth testing, a point you disagree with and a question the author has not answered. Reading does not require handing your judgement to somebody else. You can learn from an author while questioning their conclusions.
Bring one idea into the day
After a chapter, choose one small action connected to your original question. If courage was the theme, that might mean preparing an honest conversation or asking a question you have postponed. These are possible experiments, not events I am claiming happened in the video.
A book cannot promise to remove fear or solve the circumstances behind it. What interests me is the moment when a useful perspective becomes something you can try. Read, think, test and decide what deserves a place in your own life.
