In this post, I describe the challenge I set myself: build bethe.one from scratch without funding, using AI in coding, research, strategy, product work, marketing and content. I wanted to explore how much I could create with the tools available to me.
I put my enthusiasm bluntly: offered a choice between five million dollars and AI coding, I would choose AI. That is a statement of conviction, not a financial comparison or a measured claim that one tool replaces a particular budget or team.
Turn the excitement into a concrete task
Choose one part of the idea you can work through. What should someone be able to do? What needs to be explained, built or checked to make that possible? A clear question gives you a way to judge the help you receive.
Keep a record of your own decisions too. When several versions or suggestions appear, you still need a reason for choosing one. The ability to generate more material does not decide which material belongs in the product.
Stay responsible for what you put in front of people
Try the result. Read the wording. Check the claims you plan to make. If something matters and you cannot evaluate it yourself, identify the expertise you need rather than treating uncertainty as completion.
The challenge in this post is personal. I am interested in building, learning and seeing what becomes possible. The useful measure is what I can make work and stand behind, beyond the excitement of the first version.
